Brain Block aka I can’t make a decision

writing struggle

The fork in the road I mentioned last week is still sitting in front of me. I really have to make a decision.

I know that part of my problem, as I said last week, is that the story doesn’t seem to be flowing in the direction it was originally intended to go.

When I look at that fork in the road …

  1. What do you mean by “the story doesn’t seem to be flowing in the direction it was originally intended to go.”?
An expression and / or a phenomenon that I blog about sometimes is when a novel starts to write itself. Characters begin to say or do things that I never intended or thought about when I loosely outlining the novel.
If this is happening to you, release the reigns and let things be free.

So whatcha thinking?
